I am very pleased with the look and quality of my stair treads. My dog was having a problem going down the stairs and I have slipped more than once when wearing just socks. They stay in place pretty well on the regular size steps but due to the curve in our staircase we used sticky tape on the narrower steps. They look beautiful and shipped to us very quickly. No more slipping down the stairs.

Bought these to make our hardwood steps easier for our elderly dog. My carpet installer stapled them down and they look perfect, you cannot see the staples at all. One problem: he noticed one of the pieces was almost an inch longer than the rest. Instead of returning, we decided to just put it on the bottom step and center. You wouldn’t notice unless I pointed it out. However, make sure you check the length carefully before installing.

So far so good... cellar wooden stairs, looks great...not sure if I should tap some carpet tacks in or if the backing grips enough... Thanks
